Matthew Christopher 2015 Collection
Below you will find out what the Knot has to say about our dear friend and designer Matthew Christopher! We are thrilled that they portrayed him exactly the way that we know him as and the exact person that our brides love and find so unique!
From the Knot
***There’s no arguing that designer Matthew Christopher loves the work he does. Every gown is a reflection of his enthusiasm and passion for the business. “I’m very moved by this business,” says Christopher. “When I got married in 2012, I turned to walk down the aisle and that was it. I was struck by the emotion of the moment – the tears, the music. When I’m working with brides, I just want to share this moment with them.” Known for his modern takes on vintage classics, Christopher turns his attention to the 1960’s for his Fall 2015 collection. A glamorous satin ball gown, one-shoulder mermaid gown with architectural detailing and a playful blue waltz-length dress capture the feel of the era. “The blue dress was inspired by the one Audrey Hepburn wore in the wedding scene of Funny Face,” says Christopher. “It’s for the girl has style, knows how to have fun and wants to be totally different on her wedding day. Or for the girl who’s thinking of maybe having a destination wedding in Paris or Italy.”

Hayley Paige SPRING 2015
HP rocked it out this collection with leather, studs, fringe, harness inspired accessories, and chevron geometric patterns; while still finding the perfect bridal balance of combining these elements with whimsical chiffon tiers and soft pale tones of blush. You can see the collection favorites below, and check out Hayley wearing her own fringe last minute design that she whipped up hours before the runway show on Friday night! We also love how she rocked her leather studded mini dress at the Knot’s annual celebrity packed gala Monday evening.
Kit! This is the cute little leather mini with studs that HP wore to the Knot Gala on Monday night! So perfect!!!

We were so fortunate to pick up this beautiful line for our boutique in April of this year. We have learned so much about this amazing designer over th epast six months and we are so happy to be a part of this wonderful family! Very inspired by her story, and how she became who she is today. Today we toured her workshop/design studio/corporate offices and I was over the moon! Amsale’s designs have been worn by some of my favorite actresses Salma Hayek, Julia Roberts and Halle Berry. One of our most favorite and memorable market moments was at the Amsale press show, being seated in the front row, next to a 91 year old woman named Mary who seemed to be some kind of a celebrity in the bridal world that we love so much! When we asked her who she was, she said she was one of the first employees at Kleinfeld and had worked there for over 50 years! When Amsale did her finale, she stopped dead in her tracks to acknowledge Mary!!! It was SO incredibly Sweet!
